Skylight & Dome Installation — Ajman & UAE

Al Madar Aluminium & Glass LLC fabricates and installs skylights, roof glazing, and dome structures for residential and commercial projects across Ajman and the UAE. We work on fixed and openable flat skylights, pitched roof glazing, pyramid skylights, ridge glazing, barrel vault systems, and custom architectural domes. Skylights are a practical and visually effective way to introduce natural light into interior spaces that cannot use wall windows — internal rooms, stairwells, entrance lobbies, atriums, and large open-plan commercial areas. A well-designed skylight reduces reliance on artificial lighting during daylight hours and creates a sense of space that flat ceilings and standard windows cannot provide. All glazing materials are specified for UAE conditions. For most applications we use heat-strengthened or laminated glass with a low-emissivity (low-E) coating. Low-E glass significantly reduces solar heat gain by reflecting infrared radiation while transmitting visible light — an important consideration in a climate where solar intensity drives high cooling loads. For pergola covers and lightweight canopy structures we use UV-stabilised polycarbonate panels, which are impact-resistant, lighter than glass, and suitable for non-critical overhead applications. Weatherproofing is a standard part of every installation. We use aluminium flashing, thermal break profiles, and high-quality neutral-cure silicone to seal the interface between the glazing system and the roof structure. All sealant work is carried out by our own team.
